Tours of The Fort
How did the Mud Castle of the Plains (Bent’s Old Fort – 1833-1849), its history, and the people who occupied it, influence the construction of The Fort Restaurant in Morrison, Colorado? Who are the people responsible for this adobe structure? How did The Fort Restaurant come to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places? These questions and many others will be answered during the one-hour tour of The Fort Restaurant. Participants will gain a better understanding of the importance of Bent’s Old Fort, The Fort Restaurant, and the people who influenced both. Tours can be booked for groups of ten or more on weekdays throughout the year. For availability and pricing, please call 303-839-1671, or fill out the Program Inquiry Form below.
